Recently, according to the notification from COTEE, the national electricity market operator in Montenegro, the Mozula wind power project in Montenegro, which is controlled by Shanghai Electric Power, has been officially put into commercial operation since December 30, 2019. The generated electricity will be fully consumed by COTEE at a FIT price of 9.599 euro cents.

The Mozula Wind Power Project in Montenegro is located in the Mozula Mountain Area in the southern part of Montenegro. The project installs 23 sets of China Vision 2MW low speed wind turbines, with a total installed capacity of 46MW. The project officially commenced on November 7th, 2017; On December 22, 2018, the first wind turbine was connected to the grid; On February 8, 2019, all wind turbines were connected to the grid for power generation and entered the legal trial operation period of the Montenegrin government; On November 15, 2019, after completing the technical acceptance process, the project was approved by the Montenegrin government and completed; On December 26, 2019, he obtained the use license and qualification of a priority power producer issued by the Energy Regulatory Bureau of Montenegro, and thus completed all the approval processes required by the Montenegrin government.

After commercial operation, the average annual power generation of the project is 111.8 million kWh, accounting for 5% of the annual social power consumption in Montenegro, and has good emission reduction and environmental protection effects. The project is jointly invested by Shanghai Electric Power Holdings, Malta Energy Company, UK Vestig Fund, and China Vision Energy. As a classic example of energy investment in the Mediterranean Rim region through "tripartite cooperation", the successful construction and smooth operation of this project will lay a solid foundation for Shanghai Electric Power to further implement its strategy of taking Malta as the fulcrum and promoting development in the Mediterranean Rim and "17+1" regions.
